Elliott´s area of expertise is civil and criminal tax procedure matters at all levels involving administrative tax controversies and tax litigation with federal, state and local taxing authorities. He is a Certified Specialist in Tax Law designated by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
Background
Prior to entering private practice, Elliott served as an Internal Revenue Agent in the Examination Division of the Internal Revenue Service and an attorney with the United States Department of Justice, Tax Division, in Washington, D.C. and the Office of the United States Attorney, Tax Division, in Los Angeles.
